In His perfect time

In His perfect time…

I am writing to you to let you know that I started talking to my husband about Jesus Christ. Some of you may not know that my husband doesn’t believe in God and His existence. It’s been a burden to me, especially now a days, the pandemic, the economic crisis and other worldly things that are happening around us. God is trying to tell us something. He loves us and that he wants to remind us about His existence.

I asked him if he has given any thoughts about what is happening around us. Is he worried? Or is he afraid? The world’s chaos is God’s revelation that he is coming soon.

1 The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Revelation 1:1-3

I told him about my ongoing burden knowing that he doesn’t believe in God is something that I wanted to talk to him about. I started telling him how important he is to me. We hardly say the words I love you, but this time I told him and how much I care about him. Tears started coming down my eyes. He said, I am who I am and I hope you respect that. I can not believe on something that is just man made stories. The bible is written by people who are just story tellers like writing a movie or a novel.

His statement was so strong, I can’t hardly breath when I heard it. I have no words but to tell him to remember this day when I tried to tell you. I may not be a perfect wife, I don’t want to be accountable, and I may not be the one to bring you to Christ, but I will continue to pray. I know that you will receive salvation, in God’s grace and in His perfect timing.

His mercy is new every morning

Have you ever fall in love? Or have you ever felt love from someone? I remember when I first fall in love, so I think I did. I feel so happy just being with that person, spending time, talking, sharing your thoughts together, your laughter, and your sorrows. We try to express it with words, our service, and our gifts. We do everything we can to express our love.

There are many ways to express our love, many ways to show each other how deeply we care. All these ways are wonderful, all should be used, but none proves your hearts to be true. Not one guarantees the veracity of your love. It is hard to love someone if they are not worthy of your love. The only way to know if you have true love is to see whether it stands the test of time. Has it endured hardship, boredom, and pain?

God’s love is genuine, it is selfless. We may feel unworthy of God’s love and refuse to approach Him as Father. Jesus died on the cross. His sacrifice showed how much he loves us. He left heaven and died for the world He loved. Even for those who rejected Him. No one could care about us more deeply than that.

To some, you may not realize how God loves you. The sunrise proves that He loves you. His mercy is new every morning when you wake up and take that first breath, God shows His love, His sacrifice, He tells you that there is hope. He died on the cross and on the third day, when the sun rises, He rose again.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
