The Bible | Meditating on His words

I finally bought a new bible. Somehow, I lost mine, so I thought, but I forgot it at the church where I used to go to. I tried to retrieve it, the secretary instructed me to pick it up outside the church one afternoon, but it disappeared. Someone might have took it. Whoever that person is, I pray that he or she will be save and change his or her life forever.

I started reading my bible again today beginning in Genesis chapter 1. Word for word I read it and it dawned on me, how powerful our God is. How wonderful His creations, just by reading verse 11, 12, and verse 13.

And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. 12The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

My heart felt this overwhelming joy, remembering how great our God is. His creation proves that He is amazing! I started writing this blog, because I don’t want to miss sharing this with you. I want us to remember that our God, who created this earth, who created us will never leave us astray. He can make things beautiful again. He can give us comfort and peace, just as He created earth perfectly.

The world might not be the perfect place for us to be in anymore. But knowing God is with us, in every situation, with everything that’s happening around us, we will feel at peace. Just call unto Him, seek Him first and we will find rest.

I pray that God will give us peace, hope and comfort. This world that we live in is not the place for us, but I pray that God will continue to guide us and prepare us for the world we called heaven. Where we will no longer suffer, we will no longer worry, and there we will be in the arms of our Father forever. In the name of Jesus our Lord, Amen.

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3: 22-23

His mercy is new every morning

Have you ever fall in love? Or have you ever felt love from someone? I remember when I first fall in love, so I think I did. I feel so happy just being with that person, spending time, talking, sharing your thoughts together, your laughter, and your sorrows. We try to express it with words, our service, and our gifts. We do everything we can to express our love.

There are many ways to express our love, many ways to show each other how deeply we care. All these ways are wonderful, all should be used, but none proves your hearts to be true. Not one guarantees the veracity of your love. It is hard to love someone if they are not worthy of your love. The only way to know if you have true love is to see whether it stands the test of time. Has it endured hardship, boredom, and pain?

God’s love is genuine, it is selfless. We may feel unworthy of God’s love and refuse to approach Him as Father. Jesus died on the cross. His sacrifice showed how much he loves us. He left heaven and died for the world He loved. Even for those who rejected Him. No one could care about us more deeply than that.

To some, you may not realize how God loves you. The sunrise proves that He loves you. His mercy is new every morning when you wake up and take that first breath, God shows His love, His sacrifice, He tells you that there is hope. He died on the cross and on the third day, when the sun rises, He rose again.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
