My First Blog Post

October 12, 2014, when I knew that my life will change forever.  He has the sweetest and mellow voice.  I was imagining what he would look like and trying really hard not to sound so nervous on the phone.  I hope that he will not notice my manly voice.  We talked for hours.  I have this constant reminder in my mind to change the tone of my voice; make it a little sweeter, a pitch higher, laugh cuter and not to sound like cookie monster from Sesame Street.  We decided to meet at a local restaurant and the rest is history.

It is a constant struggle as I wrestle with my conscience that I am with this awesome guy who doesn’t believe in God.  I never thought that as a Christian woman, who strongly believe in God and Jesus Christ, that I will be married to an atheist.   Pray for me.

Does miracle still exist?  How will I tell him that our God is real?  Will he ever believe?

I truly believe that God exists and that he created everything!  Today, my husband and I had an awesome day as always. We may have disagreement here and there, but we always catch ourselves doing it, so we will just stop.  Let the time passes and cool off so we will not argue anymore.  It is a perfect couple’s world.  But somehow, there is this voice that constantly whispering to me, ‘he is not a Christian…’  Would this be the voice of God, telling me to stop what I am doing and pray for his salvation?  Is it my angel’s voice, who is reminding me to pray for my husband?   Am I the only one who has this problem?

I struggle feeling disengaged from church, from praise and worship, and from the pastor’s sermon, especially, when the weekend is here.  Every Sunday I think about going to church, or watch Charles Stanley.

Joyful Wife

A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.  Proverbs 12:4

I am a Christian, but I am not a perfect Christian.  I am a wife, who loves her husband and would do almost everything for him.  Not everything, but almost.  Let’s be honest, sometimes we don’t feel like doing everything for him, right? Especially, when things are not going to as planned and when we are not happy with him.  

Why did I start this blog?

  • I have been contemplating about this idea for quite some time now.  I am a Christian, married to a non-believer.  I wanted to share our married life to those of you who are in the same situation as I am.  I know God has a huge plan in our life.
  • I started writing to help me stay focus.  I know God has a purpose in my life, but I am still trying to figure that out.  With you in my side, hopefully, it will help me become a strong Christian, a noble wife, a good friend and a woman.
  • Most importantly, to pray for our spouse who do not believe that there is a God who loves them unconditionally.

Before I continue this blog here are the things that I wanted you know;

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal? 
    • I needed a huge support group.  
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
    • As a wife, a christian, a woman and a friend, I would love to share to you my joy, my struggle, heartaches, laughter, failures and my accomplishment.  Not to be embarrass or to be proud, but to learn, to motivate, to inform, to encourage and to accept, whether our shortcoming, our success, and our blessings in life.
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
    • I would love for all of you, wives, mothers, friends,  husbands, fathers and even grandmas and grandpas out there to share your thoughts and experience.
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished? 
    • The goal of this blog is to spread the word of God, His awesomeness, His love for everyone, His grace, His kindness, His forgiveness and most especially Salvation, that He gave His only son Jesus Christ.  To share to our love ones who do not believe, to be the light that our Lord wants us to be.  To be the Joyous wife no matter where life takes us.
  • I love you all!!!
